“ Not your Mama's Cafe offers down to earth home cooking meals. It's delicious!! Fried green tomatoes was superb!! Food was great, service was excellent & atmosphere was comfortable!!! I would suggest trying this establishment, a person wouldn't regret it, It'll be worth your time!!! The crab platter was fantastic! The stuffed mushrooms are also a great choice but the fried mushrooms are equivalent to the stuff. The waitresses are super nice!! You have to experience it because explaining it just doesn't give it justification!!! ”

“ Love this place! The atmosphere is country with a touch of sophistication. It's very welcoming. Service is off the charts! Extremely kind and efficient. We never had to ask for anything. The food is down home country comfort food that's been elevated. My boyfriend's favorite is the hamburger steak. That gravy is perfection! I always get chicken fried chicken. It's always crispy and perfectly seasoned with juicy chicken inside that fabulous crust. I highly recommend the chocolate cake even if you have to get it to go. Best chocolate cake I've had in years. ”

“ Food flavorful and well prepared, service was good but was not offered drink menu or specials but server was kind and attentive Alligator was tender and perfectly cooked Mama eggplant sauce was flavor only thing theres add shrimp and or crab crab is an upcharge however server never asked which style. Wouldve chose the crab instead of shrimp. Onion rings was a huge portion again cooked perfectly Seafood pasta large portion enough for two maybe three Flavor and value perfect Mushroom sauce nedds more mushroom flavor and sauce to soupy needs touch thicker still flavor made up for it. 9.5/ 10 defitinely reconmmend giving this place a try ”

“ What a gem!!! Best food i have eaten that I can remember!!! We had the stack appetizer (eggplant,crabcake, and fried green tomato) topped with an amazing seafood sauce that was to die for! I had the tuna served on spaghetti squash and spinach topped with another great shrimp sauce and some perfectly fried onion rings. The tuna was cooked to perfection and everything had the most amazing flavor. Service was great and atmosphere was just as good. I live about 2 hours from this place but I promise I will be making the trip just to eat here!! 11 out of 10! ”
